There are eight teams competing in the Nepal Premier League (NPL), one of which is Biratnagar Kings. Dayahang Rai, one of the contemporary and most successful Nepalese actors, is the brand ambassador of Biratnagar Kings.

A former cricket player Paras Luniya is the owner of Biratnagar Kings. Kevin O’Brien, a former international cricketer from Ireland is currently the head coach of Biratnagar Kings. Currently, the team is playing under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane.

The team has included various international players for the first season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024, such as Nicholas Kirton (a professional cricketer from Barbados known for his awesome batting skills), Martin Guptill (a prolific New Zealand cricketer known for his highest individual unbeaten 237 runs in the cricket World Cup against West Indies in 2015), Chris Sole (a professional right-arm fast bowler from Scotland), and others.

Biratnagar Kings Anthem

The anthem is composed and sung by Kushal Pokhrel, a famous Nepali content creator and YouTuber. Rachana Rimal is known as the face of this team.
