A Buddha Air plane skidded off the runway at Bhadrapur Airport in Jhapa. According to Chief District Officer (CDO) Shivram Gelal, the plane went slightly outside the ground, and authorities are currently assessing the situation.
Koshi Province DIG Binod Ghimire said the plane slipped a little during landing. Buddha Air has confirmed that the aircraft was flying from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur.

All 51 passengers and 4 crew members are safe, and no human casualties have been reported. Police said the plane skidded about 300 meters east of the runway, where it became stuck and suffered damage.
Currently, 70 police personnel have been deployed at Bhadrapur Airport. Investigation is ongoing.
