Honor has quietly launched the X6d smartphone in the United Arab Emirates. The budget 5G phone is priced at AED 509 (approximately $138 USD). It appeared on UAE retailer websites like Jumbo.ae around February 10-13, 2026, without any official launch event.
The Honor X6d is currently available only in the UAE market. No official launch has been announced for Nepal, India, or other South Asian countries yet.
Price and Availability
The Honor X6d costs AED 509 in the UAE. This converts to approximately NPR 21,999-25,000 based on current exchange rates and regional pricing patterns.
Only one variant is available: 4GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The phone comes in two colors: Midnight Black and Ocean Cyan. The device is not yet listed on Honor Nepal’s official website. Local retailers like Hukut, Dizikart, and MobileMandu have not announced any availability.
Key Specifications and Features
The Honor X6d features a 6.75-inch TFT LCD. The screen has HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels) with a 90Hz refresh rate. It uses a waterdrop notch design with thick bezels.
The phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. This 6nm octa-core chipset supports 5G connectivity and reaches speeds up to 2.4GHz. It’s an entry-level processor suitable for basic tasks and light gaming.
Storage capacity is generous for the price point. The 4GB RAM pairs with 256GB internal storage. No microSD card slot has been confirmed in official listings.
Camera System

The rear camera features a 50MP main sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. This is a significant upgrade from the Honor Play 60A’s 13MP camera. An auxiliary lens assists with depth or macro shots.
Video recording maxes out at 1080p resolution at 30fps. The front camera offers 5MP resolution for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging
A 5260mAh non-removable battery powers the device. This provides all-day usage for most users with moderate use.
Charging speed is limited to 15W. This is slower compared to Honor’s mid-range phones that support 35W or faster charging. The battery is slightly smaller than the Honor Play 60A’s 5300mAh capacity. But the difference is minimal in real-world usage.
Software and Design
The Honor X6d ships with the Android 15 operating system. Honor’s MagicOS 9 skin runs on top, providing custom features and an interface. Physical dimensions measure approximately 167 x 77 x 7.9 mm. The phone weighs around 186 grams, making it comfortable to hold.
Design features include flat edges and a squarish camera module. The camera sits flush with the back panel. The glossy finish gives it a simple budget aesthetic. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor provides biometric security. The phone supports dual Nano-SIM cards for 5G connectivity.
Connection to Honor Play 60A
The Honor X6d is essentially a rebranded Honor Play 60A. The Play 60A launched in China in late 2025. Key differences include the upgraded 50MP camera versus the Play 60A’s 13MP sensor. The battery capacity is slightly reduced from 5300mAh to 5260mAh.
The phone was also certified as “Honor 500 Smart” in some regions. This suggests potential launches under different names in various markets.
Honor’s Presence in Nepal
Honor Nepal has not announced the X6d for local launch. The brand currently focuses on other X-series models in the Nepali market. Recent launches in Nepal include the Honor X9d in January 2026. That phone features a 108MP camera and 8300mAh battery, priced at NPR 54,999. First-day sales exceeded 1,000 units.
Other available models include the Honor X6b (launched August 2024 at Rs. 16,999), X6c (2025, priced Rs. 19,999-21,999), and various X7 and X8 series phones. Honor achieved 150% year-on-year growth in Nepal during 2025. Strong sales came from budget and mid-range models like Play 10, X6C, X7C, and X9 series.
The X6d could fit well in Nepal’s budget 5G segment if Honor decides to launch it. Expected pricing would compete with similar budget 5G phones from Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung.
Target Market and Competition
The Honor X6d targets budget-conscious buyers wanting 5G connectivity. The price point makes it accessible to first-time smartphone upgraders. Strengths include a large 256GB storage at a budget price, decent battery life, 5G support, and an improved camera over predecessors.
Limitations include HD+ resolution instead of Full HD+, a basic 5MP selfie camera, slow 15W charging, and entry-level processor performance. Tech reviewers describe it as a “budget champion” and “decent entry-level 5G phone” in early YouTube first looks. The value proposition works at the €116-€130 price range.
What This Means for Nepali Buyers
Nepali consumers interested in budget 5G phones should monitor Honor Nepal’s announcements. The X6d represents good value if it launches locally at expected prices. The phone would compete directly with budget 5G offerings already available in Nepal. Models from Xiaomi Redmi, Realme, and Samsung’s Galaxy A-series occupy similar price points.
For now, Nepali buyers can consider the currently available Honor X6b, X6c, or X9d based on their budget. These phones have established local support and warranty networks. If Honor launches the X6d in Nepal, expect it through official distributors like Celltron Nepal. Pricing would likely fall between NPR 20,000-25,000 based on regional patterns.
The quiet UAE launch suggests Honor is testing the market before wider releases. Nepali availability depends on regional expansion plans not yet announced.
