Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will launch globally on February 25, 2026. Nepali users can expect it to go on sale in March 2026, alongside the Galaxy S26 and S26+.

The new Ultra model brings major upgrades over last year’s S25 Ultra. It features a 6.9-inch M14 OLED QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering brighter visuals and smoother performance. Samsung has also improved the anti-reflective coating and added a built-in privacy screen.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with a unified oval camera island, housing three of its cameras vertically. This is the most curved-corner Ultra ever, offering a smooth and comfortable feel in hand. Samsung has switched back to aluminium, allowing for vibrant colour options including Black Shadow, White Shadow, Galactic Blue, and Ultraviolet.

Performance and Battery

The Ultra will run on either Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, depending on the region. The 5,000mAh battery has been optimised for longer life, and charging gets a major boost with 60W wired fast charging and Qi2 wireless support.

Camera Upgrades

Samsung keeps the quad-camera setup with a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, a 12MP 3x telephoto, and a 50MP 5x telephoto. Improved AI image processing ensures better skin tones, colours, and sharper low-light shots.

AI Features

The Galaxy S26 series introduces Proactive Intelligence. It can alert you to schedule conflicts, even while you’re chatting on WhatsApp, Instagram, or Google Messages. Samsung emphasises that all data is processed on-device, ensuring privacy.

Price and Availability in Nepal

The official price in Nepal has not been confirmed yet, but it is expected to be similar to the S25 Ultra, around Rs 1,29,999. Pre-orders may begin shortly before the March sale, but some price hikes are possible due to global memory shortages.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra promises to be Samsung’s most advanced Ultra yet, combining cutting-edge design, performance, AI features, and camera upgrades, making it the premium choice for Nepali smartphone users in 2026.
