Harka Sampang resigns as Dharan mayor and announces election candidacy from Sunsari-1

Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City Mayor Harka Sampang has resigned from his position.
He submitted his resignation to Deputy Mayor Aindra Bikram Begha.

In his resignation message, Sampang said:

“आज बाट म मेयर साप रहिंन है! म आज देखि धराने जनता! जय माटो! जय देश!”
(Meaning: From today, I am no longer the mayor. From today, I am a citizen of Dharan.)

He also announced that he will run for the upcoming election from Sunsari-1.
