Pawan Sarraf's Six Lifts Karnali Yaks to 166 against Rhinos

The Karnali Yaks ended their innings on a high note, posting a commanding total of 166 runs for 3 wickets against the Chitwan Rhinos in the Nepal Premier League 2025.

The foundation of the strong total was laid by opener Priyank Panchal, who played a magnificent innings, scoring a dominant 90 runs off just 48 balls. Contributions from Max O’Dowd (20) and Mark Watt (16) kept the momentum going.

The dramatic conclusion came from Pawan Sarraf. He launched an aggressive late attack, finishing not out on 27 runs off only 16 balls. The highlight of his cameo, and indeed the entire innings, was a massive six he smashed on the very last ball of the 20th over. This sensational shot powered the Yaks past the competitive 166 mark and sent the crowd wild. Najibullah Zadran remained unbeaten alongside him with 4 runs.

For the Chitwan Rhinos, bowlers Sohail Tanvir, Saif Zaib, and Ravi Bopara each managed to take one wicket.

With this total, the Chitwan Rhinos face a challenging chase, needing 167 runs to win the Match 2 encounter.
