Rhinos Set Formidable Target
Earlier in the day, after winning the toss and electing to bat, the Chitwan Rhinos were powered to a formidable total of 176/4 in their 20 overs. The innings was built on a spectacular 112-run opening stand between England’s Dawid Malan and young talent Arjun Saud.

For the Bolts, the wickets were shared among the bowlers, with Maaz Sadaqat, Anil Sah, Rupesh Singh, and Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton claiming one scalp each.
Janakpur Batters Dominate the Chase
In the chase, Janakpur’s batsmen showed a remarkable shift in form, tackling the target with aggression and calculated risks. The winning charge was led by brilliant half-centuries from opener Maaz Sadaqat and local star Anil Sah.
The duo anchored the innings with a high-tempo partnership that consistently kept the required run rate in check. Their disciplined yet aggressive approach put immediate pressure on the Chitwan bowling attack, ensuring Janakpur was always ahead of the curve. The chase was sealed in the 18th over, marking a clinical execution of the batting plan.
This comprehensive win, achieved with 15 balls to spare, is a vital turning point for the defending champions as they look to revive their campaign and make a late surge for the NPL playoffs.
